Greater London Demolition was responsible for the dismantling and site clearance on this renowned London location. The project involved the demolition of buildings and structures on this regeneration site down to the underside of basement level. The buildings ranged from two to five storeys in size. The project also included the removal and disposal of asbestos material from the various buildings.Due to the size of the site and the close proximity of local residents and schools, it was necessary to take particular care to diminish the impact of demolition activities. Dust sprays were used as much as possible to minimise the effect of dust and weekly committees met to evaluate progress and liaise with local residents.
